The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially opened the registration window for the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023. Aspiring special school teachers in Bihar can now apply for the exam through the online portal at bsebstet.com. The last date to submit the application form is December 22, 2023.
BSSTET is a mandatory exam for those seeking to teach in special schools across Bihar. The exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Classes 6 to 8. Eligible candidates can apply for either or both papers.

- Candidates must have passed the Secondary Teacher’s Training Certificate (STTC) or Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) for Special Education from a recognized institute
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute

- Create a new account or log in using existing credentials
- Fill in the online application form, including personal details, educational qualifications, and exam preferences
- Upload scanned copies of required documents, including passport-sized photograph, signature, caste certificate (if applicable), and educational certificates
- Pay the application fee online
- Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference
