The wait is over for aspirants of the Bihar Public Service Commission’s 68th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE Mains)! On Sunday, November 3rd, the commission announced that a total of 867 candidates have successfully cleared the grueling Mains exam.
This marks the culmination of a long journey that began with 2,58,036 candidates taking the BPSC 68th CCE Prelims exam back in February. Out of them, only 3,590 qualified for the Mains, and now, 867 have emerged victorious.
Here’s a breakdown of the triumphant 867:
- 400: Unreserved category
- 76: Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
- 120: Scheduled Caste (SC)
- 13: Scheduled Tribe (ST)
- 122: Extremely Backward Class (EBC)
- 120: Backward Class (BC)
- 16: Backward Class Women (BC Women)
The commission also proudly announced that 8 candidates with disabilities (Divyang) have secured their place among the chosen few. These include 8 visually impaired (VI), 8 deaf and dumb (DD), 5 orthopaedic handicapped (OH), and 9 mentally challenged (MD) candidates.
But the celebrations don’t end here! The interview dates for the BPSC 68th CCE are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for further updates.
